The mineral separation plant at Narngulu in Western Australia processes Jacinth-Ambrosia concentrate, as well as concentrates from Western Australian mining operations.
The Narngulu plant has a dual train configuration via the installation of an additional electrostatic separation circuit. The plant has a capacity of approximately 850 thousand tonnes of heavy mineral concentrate, of which 600 thousand tonnes is dedicated to Jacinth-Ambrosia. It has achieved a treatment rate of 1.2 million tonnes per annum of heavy mineral concentrate and is expandable.
